Belly dance classes at Arabesque are wonderful for all ages and fitness levels; Beginner to advanced. Class focus can include technique & combos, choreography and stagecraft. Safiya’s talented approach at introducing students to the many styles of dance that make up her repertoire, include an intuitive understanding of how to break down those dances to the most basic of movements helping students excel in the classroom, as well as on the stage.

Arabesque has a number of productions throughout the year that include traditional belly dance shows, themed events, cultural showcases as well as workshops, recitals and  haflas (parties). These events often include professional shows to live music with featured artists selected for their dance knowledge and artistry, as well as mixed shows that have performers and students of all levels. Arabesque also frequently hosts national and international talent for workshops, educational presentations and shows. This brings some amazing dancers and musicians to our area from all over the world to help us introduce culture to the community through dance and music!
