During the May Gallery Hop, Arabesque will be visiting Latin America! Our southern neighbors have a colorful history of dance and music that we will be bringing to the stage. Hop night performances will present Folkloric Skirt Dances, Latin Fusion Dance and a Theatrical Aztec Mask piece.
Performances by Safiya Nawaar, Eva Ensmann, and Lilia Vega as well as the dance troupe from Casa de la Cultura Hispana de Lexington.
Our studio will transform into a theater style venue for the evening as we open our doors to Gallery Hop visitors from 5 pm to 8 pm on May 20th.
The show is complimentary and all ages are welcome! Performances take place every half hour.
(5:30 – 5:30 – 6:00 – 6:30 – 7:00 – 8:30)
We will be providing light refreshments and plenty of seating will be available.
Our featured visual artist for May is the very talented, Lilia Vega Nichols.
Mark your calendar and come out to see an amazing show and to see the wonderful Aztec and Dia de Muertos masks that Lilia will have on display in May!
We also are very happy to announce that reps from the new Lexington spanish radio station, El Pulso, will be joining us during the event.
